Surface Preparation Products
NA 240 Primer Grip is a high-performance, textured, water-based primer designed to enhance the performance and adhesion of mortars to existing ceramics and difficult-to-bond substrates. NA 240 Primer Grip can be used as a primer and bonding agent for self-leveling underlayments. NA 240 Primer Grip is suitable for a wide variety of substrates and combines excellent versatility with an easy, low-odor application. It also saves time and money by not having to tear out or scarify existing surfaces.
NA 310 Self-Leveler Primer is a low-VOC, water-based acrylic primer that enhances the performance and adhesion of self-leveling underlayments on nonabsorbent surfaces such as ceramic tile, vinyl composition tile (VCT), epoxy moisture barriers and adhesive residue, as well as on profiled, absorbent surfaces. Ideal for a wide variety of substrates, NA 310 dries to magenta in color and combines excellent versatility with easy application. It is compatible with NA 400 Self-Leveler.
NA 400 Self-Leveler is a high-compressive-strength, cement-based underlayment and repair mix that is easy to pour and that seeks its own level. It is ideal for leveling, smoothing and repairing interior oors up to 1″ (2,5 cm) in a single application. NA 400 is extremely convenient: Just mix with water and pour over the oor substrate. Its fast cure time allows tile to be installed after just 24 hours.
NA 420 LP Leveler is a low-preparation, self-leveling, calcium-aluminate- based underlayment and repair mix for interior concrete and engineer-approved floors. Its unique formulation allows for direct application on substrates that are clean, securely bonded and properly primed. NA 420 has high strength and is abrasion-resistant, and is able to accept tile and stone 16 hours after installation and moisture-sensitive floor coverings after 36 hours. NA 420 has a compressive strength of greater than 3,500 psi (24,1 MPa) after 28 days. NA 420 is quite fluid and, once mixed, can be easily installed from featheredge to 1″ (2,5 cm) in a single lift.
NA 450 LP Leveler Rapid is a low-preparation, rapid-setting, self-leveling underlayment that typically requires only a clean, securely bonded and properly primed substrate before application. NA 450 is quite fluid once mixed and it can be easily installed from featheredge to 2″ (5 cm) in a single lift. Typically requiring reduced surface preparation, NA 450 provides lower installation costs and fast turnaround on jobsites. NA 450 is able to accept tile and stone after 3 to 4 hours of installation and moisture-sensitive floor coverings after 16 to 24 hours. It has a compressive strength of greater than 4,100 psi (28,3 MPa) after 28 days.
NA 500 Floor Patch is a fast-setting, latex-fortifed, sanded cement-based patching compound with high compressive strength. When NA 500 is mixed with water, floor coverings can be installed in just 1 hour after application. When mixed with the latex liquid NA 501 Floor Patch Additive, NA 500 can be used as an embossing leveler or to encapsulate cutback adhesive residue.
NA 501 Floor Patch Additive is an acrylic latex additive for use with NA 500 Floor Patch to improve adhesion and flexibility. When NA 500 is mixed with NA 501, the floor patch system can be used as an embossing leveler or to encapsulate cutback adhesive residue. NA 501 also increases the working time of NA 500.
NA 600 Multi Patch is a fast-setting, versatile, cementitious material used for the patching of interior/exterior concrete surfaces including concrete floors, residential driveways, sidewalks and concrete pads. NA 600 Multi Patch minimizes jobsite turnaround time by setting fast for easy and cost- ef cient patching of horizontal substrates before application of self-leveling underlayments.
NA 1200 Shower Base Mix is an economical blend of select sand and Portland cement. Mix with water to create a semi-dry underlayment mortar bed from 3/8″ to 3″ (10 mm to 7,5 cm) thick. NA 1200 is excellent for leveling rough or uneven concrete floors, and for building slopes on shower floors or other surfaces before installing ceramic tile or stone.
NA 1300 Magna Float is a pre-blended, cement-based, polymer-fortifed thick-bed and render mortar that includes a blend of select aggregates. It can be used for horizontal and vertical rendering. Rather than requiring the use of a latex additive, NA 1300 Magna Float only needs to be mixed with water to produce a thick-bed mortar of exceptional strength.
Membrane Systems And Waterproofing
NA 1510 Membrane Primer is a ready-to-use, fast-drying, water-based latex primer for use under NA 1550 Crack-Isolation Membrane on indoor and outdoor floors for residential and commercial applications. NA 1510 greatly increases the bond of NA 1550 to concrete, plywood and other approved and properly prepared floors. It can be applied with a roller or brush, is white in color and dries clear.
NA 1550 Crack-Isolation Membrane is a flexible, thin, lightweight, load-bearing, “self-adhered” membrane over which ceramic tile and natural stone can be installed immediately with any polymer-modified cement mortar. NA 1550 can be used to prevent in-plane floor cracks (up to 3/8″ [10 mm] wide) from transferring through tile, stone and grout, and to help prevent gaps in wood-floor installations due to subfloor movement. NA 1550 is also excellent for use in multi-story buildings to reduce airborne and impact sound transmission between floors.
NA 1640 Crack Isolator is a premixed, liquid-applied, quick-drying membrane applied over concrete substrates to keep cracks from migrating up through ceramic tile and stone installations. NA 1640 Crack Isolator can be used for ceramic tile and stone in residential and commercial interior/ exterior environments. It meets ANSI A118.12 requirements and provides up to 1/8″ (3 mm) of in-plane crack isolation. It is then ready to receive most North American Adhesive (NAA) polymer-modi ed or epoxy mortars.
NA 1740 Waterproof Coating is a premixed, fast-drying, liquid-applied waterproofing and crack-isolation membrane for installation under ceramic tile or stone in residential, commercial and industrial environments. NA 1740 provides a thin, continuous barrier to protect adjacent rooms and floors below from water damage. NA 1740 can be applied with a roller or brush and is ready to receive tile or stone after 45 to 90 minutes of drying time.
When using NA 1740, ceramic tile or stone can be installed with any North American Adhesives (NAA) polymer-modi ed or epoxy mortar. For common problem areas like coves, corners, cracks and drains, NA 1740 can be combined with optional NA 1750 Waterproof Coating Fabric to provide additional protection. NA 1740 can be flood-tested after 12 hours of drying time, and exceeds ANSI A118.10 and ANSI A118.12 standards. NA 1740 has no odor and is great for use in confined spaces.
NA 1750 Waterproof Coating Fabric is a thin, flexible, lightweight, alkali- resistant, non-woven polyester fabric for optional embedment with NA 1740 Waterproof Coating under ceramic tile or stone. NA 1750 quickly absorbs and bonds with NA 1740 to provide an additional level of durability, protection and insurance against water damage.
NA 1750 is available as a 38″ (97-cm) wide roll. The fabric can easily be cut to size with scissors or a razor knife and lays at during installation.
